Our specialized Transition to Employment program is designed to support unemployed individuals in Jasper, empowering them with the skills and training necessary to secure full-time employment.

Are you eligible?
To qualify for the Transition to Employment program, you must meet the following criteria:
Alberta Resident: You should be a resident of Alberta, Canada.
18 Years or Older: The program is available to individuals aged 18 years or older.
Legally Able to Work in Canada: You must be legally eligible to work in Canada; Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, Refugee or a Temporary Foreign Worker with more than 26 weeks remaining on their work visa.
Ready, Willing, and Able to Work Full-Time: We seek individuals who are prepared and enthusiastic to work full-time.
Unemployed: To benefit from this program, you should be currently unemployed and qualify for Employment Insurance (EI). Candidates who do not qualify for EI may also qualify, contact us for more information.
What’s involved?
Once enrolled in our program, you'll receive ongoing aid and support from a dedicated Career Coach. They will guide you through the process and provide the following services:
Career Counselling and Market Insights: Gain valuable insights and guidance through our career counselling sessions. Stay updated with the latest labour market information to make informed decisions about your career path.
Employment Supports: Our dedicated team provides comprehensive employment support, including job search assistance, expert resume writing, interview preparation, and more. Boost your confidence and showcase your talents to potential employers.
Funding Support for Job-Related Training: We understand the importance of continuous learning for professional growth. Our program offers funding support for job-related training, helping you enhance your skill set and remain competitive in the job market.
Work Experience Opportunities: Gain real-world experience and explore new occupations through job shadowing and work experience opportunities. Open doors to new possibilities and broaden your horizons.
Transition Assistance: Whether you're switching career paths or seeking a fresh start, our program offers assistance and resources to make your transition as smooth as possible.
